2010 Xenia Rail and Arts Fest / Kiwanis Rib Fest Cook off -  8/28/2010
Watch your children enjoy train rides, feast on some delicious ribs, see local artwork on display — and get a history lesson on Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Xenia Rail & Arts Fest.

In addition, Kiwanis Club of Xenia will feature a rib cookoff for the first time this year for both professionals and amateurs. Food concessions will be available and live music will be featured throughout the day. Nearby local restaurants will also be open during event.

2010 Kiwanis Annual Club Picnic -  8/17/2010

The weather report for Tuesday is very favorable compared to the past week, temperature in the low eighties and no rain. Harold has done a great job in the organization of the evening. An effort has been made to contact every member. If somehow you were missed-Important things to keep in mind: Are you attending? Have you indicated your preference for the meal (steak or chicken)? 2010 Ohio Kiwanis District Convention at the Sheraton Cincinnati North -  8/13/2010
August 13-15 is the Ohio Kiwanis District Convention at the Sheraton Cincinnati North in Sharonville. Delegate assembly is Saturday afternoon. Dave Purdom will be included in the memorial service on Sunday.


“Singing Chef,” Chef Jerome at August 10 Kiwanis meeting -  8/10/2010
The August 10th meeting will be a good one to bring that guest that may be a potential member as we welcome the acclaimed “Singing Chef,” Chef Jerome of the John Roan, Post 517, American Legion, now serving meals specializing in authentic New Orleans/Southern cooking. He promises to bring a special treat.


2009-10 Installation of Officers and Directors -  10/6/2009
This is the beginning of a new administrative year in the life of the Kiwanis Club of Xenia. Lt. Governor Bob Buesher conducted the installation of our officers and directors. Past Lt. Governor Bill Pees helped to distribute pins and congratulations to our new administration. Outgoing President Rosalie Beers was thanked for her year of leadership. Backyard Battle X Traveling Trophy  -  9/25/2009
Xenia Kiwanian Jo Carman,President of the Beavercreek Rotary Club Jack Henderson presenting to winning Beavercreek Head Coach Scott Clodfelter and Captains RB Gabe Henry,WR Brad Sundstrom,QB Tim Carroll, and LB Branden Smith the Backyard Battle X Traveling Trophy that will stay in Beavercreek until next year football game Sept 17,2010 in Beavercreek. The series is all tied up 5-5!!!!


First 2009 Xenia Kiwanis Rib and R&A Fest -  8/22/2009
Thanks to all who helped with our responsibilities for the Rail and Art Fest and our new venture - the Kiwanis Rib Fest.  Bart and Janet are to be commended for a great job this year. Everyone who signed up showed up and helped make this year another success. Our Lt. 2009 Xenia Kiwanis Club Delegate at Buckeye Boys State - Max Gross -  6/16/2009

Here are pictures of Max Gross (in black shirt). Max is a senior at Xenia H.S. who is an Eagle Scout, president and co-drum major for the Xenia H.S. marching band. He is representing our Xenia Kiwanis Club as a delegate at Buckeye Boys State!!

The club incurred no expense because Mr. Dillon paid the $300.00 for Max’s sponsorship.  The American Legion Post #776 and Mr. Dillon took 17 young men from Miami Valley to Bowling Green State University on June 13 to the program. They returned back

2008 Kiwanis Football trophy awards -  10/28/2008
Dear Fellow Kiwanians: We have a special community and sponsored youth project here in Xenia.   After every home football game, whether we win or lose,we give out awards to the team for their outstanding performance for that night home football game. We give out a Offensive player of the game, Defensive player of the game, Special teams player of the game
